Gilbert & Sheppard at 2014 NAHB International Builders’ Show

Every year the housing industry assembles the best of the best in every field that is remotely associated with home building and residential community development.  This year’s NAHB International Builder’s Show (IBS) in Las Vegas continues that tradition with innovative exhibits, educational forums, round-table discussions, professionalism awards and more.

On Wednesday, February 5, Kerrie Gilbert, Creative Director and co-founder of Gilbert & Sheppard Group, will conduct a round-table session within the NAHB’s 50+ Housing Educational Track.

The session titled “Feeling Social? So Are Your Customers” will highlight successful strategies that have generated substantial online traffic for Gilbert & Sheppard Group’s clients, particularly for the senior and active adult communities they market in the Southeast. In addition, the discussion will focus on how a community’s active and engaged social media presence attracts potential buyers long after the community is up and running.

Throughout the week long event, Betsy Sheppard, president and co-founder of Gilbert & Sheppard Group, will be actively involved in strategic planning sessions for the NAHB’s 50+ Housing Council Board of Trustees and the NAHB’s Council for Professional Women in Building.
