Join the Gilbert & Sheppard Team at NAHB’s International Builders’ Show

It’s a busy time of year here at Gilbert & Sheppard. Our team is hustling around with year-end tasks and new-year strategic planning for clients, presentations, meetings, holidays, and more. Plus, right around the corner is one of the biggest gatherings of the new year, the National Home Builders Association’s International Builders’ Show or #IBS2020.

In January, IBS 2020 expects to welcome more than 80,000 building industry professionals from across the globe to the Las Vegas Convention Center for a week of education, business networking, product demonstrations, and specialty-specific programs. Attendees represent every facet of the building industry – literally – from nuts and bolts to business services and everything in between that is both consumer-related and builder-related.

Betsy Sheppard and Kerrie Gilbert, along with our team members from Immersion Active, will be participating in numerous business meetings and marketing presentations.

You can look for Betsy all around the show. She has a jam-packed schedule as the incoming National Chair of Professional Women in Building for 2020.

Kerrie will be participating in three educational/informational sessions. The topics include:

What Your Competitors Don’t Know About Marketing to 55+ & How You Can Use It to Your Advantage. In this session, you’ll learn to identify key buyer profiles you should be targeting, how to uncover the answers to common questions that arise when developing an optimized marketing program and  how to understand changing trends that could impact your marketing ROI.

The Two Faces of Social Media. Kerrie and Stephanie Smith from Immersion Active will present a lively debate about the differences and similarities between paid and unpaid social media. Participants will learn when and why to use each type of content, and how to combine both paid and unpaid social media to generate earned media.

B.O.O.M! Bridging the Communication Gap with Boomers. This jam-packed, interactive program will provide tactful dos and don’ts for improving your communication with 55+ consumers and co-workers. B.O.O.M! offers reliable techniques for accelerating your communication skills and effectively bridging the gap between generations. If you’re under 55, this could be the most important 20 minutes of your IBS experience!
